[Yes, she's really doing this.

In all fairness, she isn't expecting it to go well. No one has to tell her that he probably doesn't know how to do this; not when Graham barely knows how to flirt. ( he doesn't, actually, it's March of the Penguins. he's not good at picking movies. movies are a lot better than he remembers being, even though they also tend toward a bit more emotional now. )

( his mind might have gone to dinner if it weren't for the second text. and with that it slams into something else entirely, quite suddenly. which is a bit foreign for him. he thinks of Emma often, yet before now he'd never really been able to think of her as clearly as he can now. he doesn't have to stay trapped in objectivity because she's not near.

it takes him a moment to respond, but when he does he's definitely not thinking about penguins anymore. )

[Leave it to Graham to be happy with what little she started with. He's already in the habit of not asking for more, it figures that he'd leave it at that. Emma is really no more experienced at this than he is, she just figured they could make it up as they go. If they like it, maybe it could be a thing.]
