I have been here slightly over two months. I must agree, it does feel relaxed. While I am managing to find ways to fill my time, it lacks the organization and structure of my previous duties.

it's been nine months, for me. I worked as a sheriff back home, and ... every day had a schedule. in some ways, I miss it. but the freedom here is a good thing, even if I needed time to grow used to it.
during the time I've spent here, I've come to realize what I came here for isn't actually what I needed. as for trouble fulfilling, I won't ask, but... even the smallest of starts will help.
( doesn't have to be extreme. even a touch is a start. )
I got a job here, one that fulfilled the things I was missing. it's not quite as dynamic as being a sheriff, but I enjoy working with the animals and feeling like I'm making a difference here.
It is better to realize that here than upon your return to your home. Was it easy to change your incentive? And you are correct. Even the smallest of starts is something, and I have taken steps to achieve that. Touch is intimate for my people, and too many people treat it as something base.
Ah yes, careers. Mine is likewise not as dynamic as my previous and I am considering a second. But they are useful, the jobs here.
It was easy. The administration here is very helpful, I'll give them that. Reaching out isn't easy for me, either, but I have one person I'm comfortable reaching out to completely. If it takes me longer to get what I need, well, I'd rather not sacrifice myself along the way.
It's a good thing, to not have too much time on your hands. At least it is for me.
