I don't think there's ever a good reason to hurt people.
( not heartbreak, not unhappiness, not loneliness. it's a lesson he learned too late in life, and it ended up with him losing his heart and being the instrument of hurting people. he doesn't think he gets an excuse for it, either. )
just be careful. faith is a good thing. some people just don't deserve it.
I wish you were right. the world would a better place if it were. but some people hurt because they like to. and no amount of believing in them will ever make them stop. as long as you are careful, that is all that I can ask.
( Papyrus isn't the only person that can't have his mind changed. Graham has seen too much, done too much, to be convinced everyone can change.
and just maybe, even if they can... he can't forgive them, anyway. )
